Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles has expanded the Amarok line-up with the addition of a new engine, the 2.3 turbo petrol engine with 222kW. The engine is offered with a 10-speed automatic transmission and it will be based on the PanAmericana derivative.

The Amarok PanAmericana 4Motion® is offered with standard features such as 12-inch Active Info Display, Digital Instrument cluster, premium Harman Kardon sound system with eight speakers and bluetooth connectivity, Driver and front passenger seat with electric 10-way adjustment, Multi-Collision brake system, Rear view camera, 360 “Area view“ camera, Adaptive Cruise control with Traffic Jam Assist, Lane Assist, Blindspot Monitoring, towing hitch, LED Matrix Healights, IQ.Headlights with high-beam control, styling bar and power roller-shutter for the loadbox and 18-inch alloy wheels all-terrain tyres.

Efficient Engine

The Amarok PanAmericana will be offered with the 2.3-litre turbocharged petrol engine with 222kW. It is mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. The engine develops maximum torque of 452Nm available between 1 750 and 2 000 rpm with a top speed of 180km/h. It goes from 0 – 100km/h in 7.6 seconds.

Price to be confirmed closer to the launch date.
