Kronenhoff Guesthouse

Sleeps 36 in 18 rooms. Kronenhoff Guest House is set in the picturesque Sundays River Valley bordering the Addo National Elephant Park. The magnificent Cape Dutch home, luscious gardens, spacious and luxurious air-conditioned rooms, first class A la Carte restaurant combined with the warmth and hospitality of the caring staff, makes Kronenhoff the ideal retreat.

The 4 Star Kronenhoff Guesthouses is situated in Kirkwood, on the border of the ADDO National Elephant Park. Kronenhoff has a Superior rating from AA Travel and in the 2007 AA Travel Awards Kronenhoff obtained the distinction. The Addo National Elephant Park is fast becoming one of the major tourist attractions in South Africa and Kronenhoff is becoming a very popular destination for tourists visiting the park. Guided Day and Night Game viewing drives can be arranged.

Our restaurant is famous for its excellent South African food. Relax at our lovely new beach pool after an exciting day of game viewing. Five minutes from Kronenhoff is the excellent 9 hole Golf Course of the Kirkwood Golf Club. The famous Daniell Cheetha Breeding Camp is only 10 minutes from Kronenhoff and is certainly worth a visit.

Broadlands Country House

Sleeps 10 in 5 rooms. Broadlands Country House is a recently renovated colonial style farmhouse, in the heart of Sunday River Valley situated on a working citrus farm .

The welcoming scent of orange blossoms greets your senses on entering our tree-lined orchard avenue. Our bed and breakfast offers guests accommodation exclusively centred in a unique African oasis, overlooking the lake, swimming pool and endless gardens, together with wholesome, tasty cuisine prepared by our in-house chef. We are dedicated to individualized, personal attention to ensure the comfort of our guests and to contribute in making your stay with us a memorable one.

Broadlands Country House is on the doorstep of several world-class game reserves, including the malaria free and internationally renowned Addo Elephant national Park. This is the only park in the world that is home to The Big Seven including Lion, Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo, Leopard, Whale and even the Great White Shark. The park has over 400 Elephants. Watching these gentle giants in the wild is an experience not to be missed.

Activities to enjoy at Broadlands Country House include birdwatching, fishing,mountain walks, and tour of our citrus Packhouse. Free wi-fi is available. There is a lovely 9 hole golf course on our doorstep as well as various adrenalin activities and health spas.

Kuzuko Lodge

Sleeps 48. The hotel is situated 2 hours’ drive north east of Port Elizabeth on the edge of the Little Karoo. It forms part of the Addo Elephant National Park concession. The air-conditioned hotel features 24 luxury chalets, a lobby, hotel safe, currency exchange facilities and children’s playground. Food and drinks are provided in the bar and restaurant. Conference facilities, Internet access, room and laundry services and a car park are also available. Each of chalets comes with a private lounge and deck area with spectacular views. All rooms have a TV, a phone, tea making facilities, a bathroom and enclosed WC. Guests may use the saltwater swimming pool, children’s swimming area and spa treatments. Bushman Sands Golf is about a 60-minute drive from the hotel. The restaurant offers a four-course set menu. Breakfast and dinner are included.

Upper Room Guesthouse

Sleeps 18 in 8 rooms. The Upper Room Guesthouse is located in the town of Kirkwood in the Eastern Cape Province of South Africa, in the picturesque Sundays River Valley. This quiet oasis is set within the malaria-free Greater Addo Area. The Upper Room Guesthouse is located within short driving distance to all the major attractions in the Greater Addo area.

Accommodation is offered in comfortably furnished guest rooms, each with their own private entrance. Each room is air-conditioned and has a work desk, seating area, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, and an en-suite bathroom with bathroom amenities. Each room has a kitchenette or full kitchen. Outside, the rooms have use of private braai facilities and a picnic bench.
