Over 114 GBV Ambassadors Commissioned in Western Cape

DA Western Cape Cabinet Members commissioned over 114 GBV Ambassadors across the province in one week.

The DA-led Western Cape Cabinet this week commissioned new Gender-Based Violence (GBV) Ambassadors in Breede Valley, Atlantis, Drakenstein and Stellenbosch. In addition, a further 30 residents were welcomed into the existing Metro North GBV Ambassadors Programme, strengthening frontline community support for survivors.

The ambassador programme forms part of the DA Western Cape Government’s sustained efforts to safeguard vulnerable residents, combat GBV at community level, raise awareness, and ensure survivors are supported in accessing help.
