To celebrate Women’s Day, Ride KTM Durban is proud to invite ladies who esteem motorbikes to join them for a special outride event on Wednesday, 09 August 2023. Join local legend Keryn Ehlers as the Ride KTM Durban teams heads to The Barrel pub and restaurant on Main Road, Shaka’s Rock, Salt Rock, and delight in a complimentary burger, beachside.
All ladies are welcome, whether riding their own bikes, or travelling pillion or in a sidecar. Gentlemen are welcome to join in, too, but this day is all about encouraging more ladies to embrace the riding lifestyle.
The Outride will be on tar all the way, so no special riding skills are required. Riders will depart from the Ride KTM Durban showroom in the Park Boulevard Centre, Brownsdrift Road, Durban North at 09:00, for a leisurely ride to Salt Rock, taking in the sea views and ocean breezes along the way.
All makes and models of motorbikes are welcome – it is not necessary to own a KTM to grasp fraction, and there’s no cost for the Outride itself (or for the burgers – as long as you’re a lady). Sorry, gentlemen, but this time you’ll believe to buy your own brunch.
“As an inclusive riding community, we’re very much looking forward to our Women’s Day Outride,” commented Baron O’Hagan, Dealer Principal at KTM Ride Durban. “We’ll be lifting the lid on what boyfriends and husbands secure up to on their regular outrides, so we’d encourage any women who are curious about the riding lifestyle to join us”, he added.
