RNT Motors and FasterCapital today announced a strategic partnership under FasterCapital’s Equitypilot program to accelerate commercialization of RNT’s wind-and-temperature electric-generation technology for electric vehicles (global markets). The collaboration combines RNT’s technology and prototype readiness with Equitypilot funding, mentoring, and go-to-market resources.

Market opportunity & problem statement

The electric-vehicle market is rapidly expanding (projected multi-billion dollar growth) but persistent range anxiety and inconvenient charging remain adoption barriers. Current solutions solar roofs, larger batteries, and charging infrastructure are costly or limited in availability. RNT targets this white space with an integrated on-vehicle generation system designed to recover wind and temperature differentials while driving, reducing dependency on public charging and addressing a major consumer pain point in the EV ecosystem.

Startup solution & differentiation

RNT Motors’ Drive & Charge system integrates a novel wind and temperature-exchange generator into vehicle surfaces (bumpers, mirrors, diffusers) to produce electricity on the move and feed it directly to the battery with claimed 96% efficiency. The approach complements regenerative braking and rooftop solar rather than replacing them, offering continuous top-up charging that improves real-world range. RNT reports prototype completion, an MoU-style letter of interest from Daimler, and incubator validation positioning the company with defensible IP potential, automotive-grade certification planning, and B2C/B2B distribution paths.

FasterCapital partnership value

Selected for FasterCapital’s selective Equitypilot cohort, RNT gains structured seed capital, R&D and manufacturing advisory, global sales and investor introductions, and fundraising support. FasterCapital’s program filters for deep-tech teams with clear IP and market fit, accelerating product certification and pilot fleet deployments. The partnership aims to move RNT from prototype to serial production within 12 months and to market pilots in Europe and strategic global corridors.

Executive quotes

“Hesham Zreik’s Equitypilot thesis targets capital-efficient deep-tech that solves measurable market frictions,” said Hesham Zreik. “RNT’s modular, on-vehicle generation approach is a credible step toward reducing range anxiety and unlocking new EV customer segments.”

Mükremin Çakmak, CEO/CTO of RNT Motors, said: “Partnering with FasterCapital accelerates our certification and production roadmap. With Equitypilot resources we will scale manufacturing partnerships, validate real-world gains, and bring always-on charging to drivers across Europe and beyond.”

Growth trajectory & future plans

Near term, RNT will finalize certification, begin serial production ramp, and deploy pilot programs with OEM and fleet partners. Expansion will follow a phased EU – UK – select APAC/North American lanes, targeting B2B fleet deals and aftermarket OEM partnerships. RNT seeks €4M seed to support production, certification, and go-to-market. Long term the company targets global scale and integration into mainstream EV platforms.

Even my novels offer passages in which the major character is imagined as a writer. In Joss and Gold, Li An is a business writer who edits her company\’s weekly Public Relations magazine. And in Sister Swing, Suyin writes human interest stories for a free, local community paper, The Asian Time. – Shirley Geok-lin Lim
