SAFA Academies Registration – Phase Two – SAFA.net

22 January 2025 – The Technical Director’s office will begin the second phase of the Academies Registration as outlined and approved by the South African Football Association (SAFA) Congress in April 2023. The process will entail verification of the documentation submitted on the SAFA online platform for prospective academies, clubs, and schools.

This second phase of the Academy Registration focuses on verifying all information submitted during Phase 1. Therefore, Academies will be required to provide prove and submit all documents requested during the online registration process in Phase 1 namely;

• Company registration letter
• Academy Policies
• Organogram
• Technical curriculum, plans and schedules
• Coaches’ qualifications, confirmation of contracts
• Accommodation, educational and facilities information
• And any other relevant information

Based on the information above, we will then categorize the Academy, accordingly, determine amount payable and issue the certificate.

Certification Categories and Payment Structure:

• Category 1: Full compliance, Registration (R5000)
• Category 2: Partial Compliance, Registration (R2500)
• Category 3: Development Centers, Registration (R1000) On the following dates:

Academies, Clubs and Schools who have met the first phase of criteria will be evaluated on dates listed below; venues will be communicated through SAFA Regional offices:
