THAT Letter is FAKE!

The Democratic Alliance (DA) has been made aware of a falsified letter drafted in my name with a falsified signature as the DA Federal Chairperson to Mr. Mbalula requesting for a meeting between Mr. Steenhuisen and President Ramaphosa to discuss the feasibility of forming a coalition government.

We have proven that the letter has been generated by artificial intelligence (AI) software. We are currently investigating where this letter was originated and will be using all resources available to determine where this fake news and disinformation comes from and will lay criminal charges against the culprits.

I want to take this opportunity to set the record straight once and for all. The Democratic Alliance is fully committed to rescuing South Africa and leading the Multi Party Charter and removing this uncaring ANC government from power.

For too long the people of South Africa have had to suffer under the leadership of Cyril Ramaphosa and the corrupt ANC government. We urge voters to be mindful of the fact that with the elections around the corner more and more fake news will be created and shared in order to deliberately affect participation in and the outcome of the election.

The creation and distribution of false information is a serious offence and we plead with all voters to report any cases to the IEC via: https://real411.org.za/election.

Come the 29th of May 2024 we will remove the uncaring ANC from power and usher in a new government that works for the people and rescues South Africa.
