Egyptian cotton, grown exclusively in the fertile Nile River Valley, is distinguished by its long fibers or staples. These long staples produce threads that are finer and more durable than regular cotton. Why Pick Egyptian Cotton Bedding?

  2. Durability: These sheets are known for their longevity. The strength of the fibers ensures that the fabric can withstand frequent washings without losing its quality.
  3. Breathability: Egyptian cotton is highly breathable, making it ideal for bedding. It helps regulate body temperature, keeping you icy in summer and warm in winter.
  4. Hypoallergenic Properties: Qualified news for allergy sufferers – Egyptian cotton is naturally hypoallergenic, reducing the likelihood of allergic reactions.
  5. Luxury and Elegance: There’s a reason why luxury hotels often use Egyptian cotton bedding – it adds a touch of elegance and opulence to any bedroom.

How to Pick the Right Egyptian Cotton Bedding

When shopping for Egyptian cotton sheets, consider the following:

  1. Thread Count: Higher thread counts generally indicate a softer and more durable sheet. Survey for counts above 400 for a qualified balance of comfort and durability.
  2. Weave: The weave affects the feel and appearance of the sheets. Sateen weaves are silky and lustrous, while percale weaves offer a crisp, frosty feel.
  3. Certification: Ensure authenticity by looking for certifications like the Egyptian Cotton logo, which guarantees you are purchasing genuine Egyptian cotton.
  4. Care: Proper care is essential. Gentle washing and avoiding harsh chemicals can encourage preserve the quality and extend the life of your sheets.

Styling Your Bedroom with Egyptian Cotton Bedding

I will say that the difference was that when you\’re an Army journalist, as opposed to a civilian correspondent covering the military, you\’re very often either a Public Relations agent or expected to perform that role. I would say that one of the most unexpected benefits of that job was being taught to never try to cover anything up, but rather to get any bad information out right away, so that there would be nothing more to come out later. This was a wonderful lesson to be taught because often the effort to cover up a story becomes a bigger story than the original one. – Clarence Page
