Transformers Blokees arrive in South Africa – Hypertext | SA News

  • Local toy store ToyClick is now offering Transformers Blokees locally.
  • The toys sell for R250 per blind box.
  • Blokees have become fast favourites for collectors overseas.

Over the last few years Blokees has taken over the world with its huge array of buildable action figures. Despite the name Blokees have more in common with modern Gunpla kits but offer an even easier entry into the world of figure-building. The brand has partnered with many licences to make official figures but none have caught the public’s imagination quite like Transformers, and now South Africans can finally pick them up without dealing with the headaches and costs of private imports.

    Biltong – seasoned strips of dried meat. Similar to beef jerky (but much tastier!), this is the spicy, cured snack eaten at rugby matches. It is usually made from beef, game and even ostrich.
