On Friday the Treverton College Athletics Team travelled down to South City Christian School to take part in their Interschool Athletics Meeting. It was a wonderful time for our team where many new members were introduced to some competitive and fun competition. Due to the long travel we took a small team down to compete. The team showed grit and determination taking part in many events to ensure that we could get as many points as possible. The hard work paid off and we finished third overall with the following athletes being awarded as Athletes of the day in their age categories.
- Carli Hughes – u14 Girls
- Tumi Gumbi – u15 Boys
- Sienna Marx – u16 Girls
- Andre Honiball – Open Boys
Thank you to everyone that took part and to the staff coaching team for a memorable weekend.
We look forward to our next event at the Treverton Super League on the 31st July.
Education truly is an adventure.
