In the News Today: Uber Safari is launching this week, offering riders in Cape Town the opportunity to go on a one-day game drive to a private reserve for a flat fee of $200 (about R3 400).
In a statement published on Monday, the e-hailing company announced the launch of the new ride option, which will allow riders to travel 175km from Cape Town to Aquila Private Game Reserve and back for a one-day game drive.
Aquila is a 10 000-hectare wildlife conservancy near Touws River, roughly a two-hour drive away from Cape Town, which is home to the Big 5.
