Ospreys Head Coach, Toby Booth, said: “The Sharks are a different looking team to what they have been in recent seasons. They’re prepared to attack a lot more, from different areas of the pitch, whilst still bringing that physicality you expect from a South African side.
“They’ve had a tough start to their season, having to travel away to Munster and Leinster, but we’re under no illusions that they’ll be looking to bounce back in this one. We’re looking forward to what is set to be a big fixture in London.”
Hollywoodbets Sharks: Aphelele Fassi, Werner Kok, Francois Venter (CAPT), Rohan Janse van Rensburg, Aphiwe Dyantyi, Curwin Bosch, Cameron Wright, Ntuthuko Mchunu, Dylan Richardson, Coenie Oosthuizen, Corne Rahl, Emile van Heerden, James Venter, Phepsi Buthelezi, Sikhumbuzo Notshe
Replacements: Kerron van Vuuren, Dian Bleuler, Hanro Jacobs, Hyron Andrews, George Cronje, Zee Mkhabela, Boeta Chamberlain, Murray Koster
Looking ahead to the meeting with the Ospreys at the home of Harlequins, Hollywoodbets Sharks head coach John Plumtree said: “It’s great to bring the URC to London and hopefully we will get a good crowd there.
“There are a lot of ex-pats in that part of the world, so it’s going to be great.
“I am sure both sides will play a pretty positive brand of footie. Probably, in the last two or three years, the Sharks have played a bit too conservatively for me and we are trying to find a better balance between attack and defence.
“We want to play a bit more positively and slightly more ambitious.”
