2 April 2024 by Guest

PRETORIA, April 2, 2024 – Stellantis continues its drive to make brands easily accessible to customers through its multifranchise dealer network with an exciting expansion of Westvaal Motor Group Menlyn to include the Jeep® and FIAT brands alongside Peugeot, Opel, and Citroën.

The impressive facility in Pretoria adds to the Westvaal Motor Group representation of Stellantis brands across six provinces. The expansion continues to bolster dealer representation across Gauteng in support of Stellantis’ ambitious plans as one of the largest importers in the South African motor industry.

Stellantis’ dealer representation in Gauteng continues to allow customers easy access to its brands, providing a convenient sales and aftersales experience to the majority of customers. The standards of those facilities are tightly managed to provide the best possible customer experience.

Westvaal Motor Group’s existing immersion in Stellantis provides a valuable experience set for customers from a dealer business that really understands the products they sell and service. Wesvaal’s history stretches back to 1975, from where they have grown to 28 dealerships across South Africa.

“We’re excited to be expanding our relationship with the Westvaal Motor Group, providing efficiencies for their business and ours, which will ultimately allow more time to service customers,” says Mike Whitfield, Managing Director of Stellantis South Africa. “We’re delighted to expand the FIAT and Jeep brand footprints in Gauteng, exposing these incredible products to more customers.”

Leading the team at Westvaal Menlyn is Dealer Manager, Wessel Marais. “We are excited to house these new brands at our class-leading facility at Westvaal Menlyn, also home to Opel, Citroën, and Peugeot and will ensure that our service delivery will be above and beyond the expectations of our customers,” says Marais.

Westvaal Motor Group is committed to providing the best automotive solutions to the Pretoria area. That promise now exists for Opel, Citroën, Peugeot, Jeep and FIAT brand customers who can look forward to being welcomed into their comfortable waiting areas with complimentary WiFi and refreshments.

High-Net-Worth Individuals: The Africa Wealth Report includes data on high net worth individuals (HNWIs), defined as individuals with net assets of US$1 million upwards. In 2016, South Africa was home to the most HNWIs in Africa, having an estimated 40,400 individuals. This is followed by Egypt (around 18,100 HNWIs) and Nigeria (around 12,300 HNWIs). Having a large group of HNWIs is an indication of a positive business environment, and, despite what we see in the news, South Africans are making money. So why can’t you?
