Renault South Africa’s recent Dealer of the Year Awards marked an annual celebration of excellence, acknowledging great performance and unwavering commitment to the brand within the 80-strong Renault Dealer network.

This prestigious event, held at the esteemed Maslow Time Square in Pretoria, served to recognize and award the outstanding achievement of the network’s finest, who have consistently demonstrated an aptitude for delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving business growth.

The top honours in the category for large dealerships were bestowed upon Renault Bryanston, while Renault Bruma took home the award for medium dealerships.  In the category for small dealerships, Renault Heidelberg emerged as the winner, and Renault Bronkhorstspruit secured the top spot in the micro dealerships category.

Renault SA approached the four category winners of the Dealer of the Year titles for their reaction, and this is what they had to say:

Shane Kruger (Motus Renault Retail Group / Franchise Director): “It takes good people with discipline and a passion for the brand to make a dealership work.  That is what we have at Motus Renault, combined with a belief in the value that the Renault brand can offer for our customers.”

Muhammed Kayat (Dealer Principal at Renault Bruma): “Renault Bruma is proud to be named Dealer of the Year in the medium category at this year’s national Renault Dealer Awards. This prestigious recognition reflects the dealership’s unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction, operational excellence, and brand integrity.  Dealer Principal [Mohammed Kayat] expressed heartfelt appreciation to the entire Bruma team, noting that the award is “a testament to the hard work, passion, and dedication of every team member who strives daily to deliver the best possible experience to our customers.”  Renault Bruma remains committed to upholding the highest standards and continuing to grow in partnership with Renault South Africa.”

Albert Grobler Jnr (Dealer Principal at Renault Heidelberg): “Renault Heidelberg is proud to be awarded Dealer Of the year for a second year in a row.  This marks an incredible milestone, a true testament to our unwavering commitment to excellence.  A heartfelt thank you to every dedicated employee and Renault SA support whose hard work made this possible.”

Hannericke Hoffeldt (Dealer Executive at Renault Bronkhorstspruit): “Carter Renault Bronkhorstspruit is deeply honoured and grateful to receive the DOTY award in the Micro Category.  This stands as a testament to the hard work, dedication, and passion of our Dealer Principal Terry Petzer, and the team behind him that have driven the dealership throughout 2024.  This recognition not only reflects Carter’s commitment to the brand but also the incredible support and collaboration from the OEM and our customers.  One of Carter’s values is TEAMWORK, and this award truly shows what teamwork can achieve.”

Several other significant awards were presented at the Gala event:

The Westvaal Group took the all-important trophy home for Best Overall Achievement.  The Motus Renault Group took the honours for the Retailer of the Year as well as the Best Sales Achievement title.  The BB Group walked away with the title of Best Overall CSI, while Eastvaal Motor Group received the accolade of Best Sales Quality.
