Zhai Auto

12 January 2024 by Guest

Zhai Auto has added both Jeep® and Fiat brands to their established operations in the Garden Route, complementing their current line-up of Opel, Peugeot, and Citroën. The latest addition forms part of the Stellantis’ expansion of their multifranchise dealer network, making more brands more accessible to more customers around the country.

The development continues to bolster dealer representation across the Southern Cape in support of Stellantis’ ambitious plans as one of the largest importers in the South African motor industry.

Zhai Auto offers an established facility for the brands, providing a convenient sales and aftersales experience to all of its customers. The standards of those facilities are tightly managed to provide the best possible customer experience.

An independent family-owned business, Zhai Auto’s history stretches back to 2013 when they opened Peugeot George. The dealership relocated to its current location in 2015 with the acquisition of Citroën with Opel joining the facility in 2020. The partnership with Stellantis to grow the brand foot print in the region has provided a solid foundation for exciting new ventures that will provide innovative convenience to customers. This includes a Service Mobility programe due to launch soon to offer remote servicing of vehicles.

“We’re as enthusiastic about expanding our existing dealer relationships as we are about expanding our network,” says Mike Whitfield, Managing Director of Stellantis South Africa. “Building our relationship with Zhai Auto will provide efficiencies for their business and ours, which will ultimately allow more time to service customers. We’re delighted to expand Jeep and Fiat’s footprint and expose our brands to more customers along the Garden Route.”

Leading the team at Zhai Auto, Hilton Cook says, “Our Team culture is built on the foundations of a passion for the brands and the motor industry as a whole. We pride ourselves on providing a personal and professional hands-on experience to our customers and forming an integral part of our local Southern Cape community through active holistic contribution and participation. We constantly strive to meet our mission statement of individual growth and professionalism to achieve a sustainable and fulfilling work space where staff are challenged to meet their full potential.”

Zhai Auto is committed to providing the best automotive solutions to the area. That potential now exists for Jeep, Fiat, Opel, Peugeot, and Citroën customers and they look forward to welcoming you into their comfortable waiting areas with complimentary WiFi and refreshments.
