2. Identifying Your Supplier
If you are unsure about your electricity supplier but have access to your meter number, you can still determine the supplier by following these steps:
Locate Your Meter Number: The meter number is usually displayed on the front panel of the meter or on your electricity card.
Contact Local Utility Services: Reach out to your local utility services or electricity regulatory authority. Provide them with your meter number, and they should be able to identify your electricity supplier based on the registered information.
Contact your prepaid meter administration company: Landlords should have this information at hand as they receive payment from their admin company.

3. Obtaining a Tamper Reset Code
In the event that your Hexing prepaid electricity meter goes into tamper mode and you require a reset code from your supplier, you can take the following steps:
Contact Your Supplier: Reach out to your electricity supplier through their customer service channels. Provide them with your account details, meter number, and a brief explanation of the issue.
Request a Tamper Reset Code: Explain that your meter is in tamper mode and request a tamper reset code to rectify the situation.
Follow Supplier Instructions: Your supplier will issue a 20 digit tamper reset code. Once you have obtained the 20 digit tamper reset code, follow the instructions provided by the customer support team to enter the code into the Hexing meter.

5. How to find my supplier/payment processor?
If your meter was supplied and/or installed by Straton Electrical then go to https://pmd.payportal.co.za and input your meter number, click on ‘New Purchase’. If the result is ‘*Meter not Found’ THEN go to https://www.easypay.co.za/supportedmeters and input your meter number under ‘Supported Meters’ then click on Search.
