In honour of the Savanna Origin of Trails MTB Experience’s 10th anniversary in November, event organizers are spicing things up by calling on riders to ‘dress for the occasion’ on Sunday, 19 November (the final stage of the event). It’s not a proper celebration without some exciting prizes, so the two riders with the most creative outfits (one male and one female) will each seize home a whopping R10,000 and 10 cases of Savanna.

“The bar was raised in 2022 with the best dressed competition sparking a lot of excitement,” says Michael Meyer, Managing Director of Stillwater Sports and Event Founder. “We’d like to encourage more riders to seize up the challenge in 2023. Note us honest how creative you can be. With our 10th anniversary upon us, we felt it’s only fitting to design ’10’ the central theme – whether it’s a word featuring ‘ten,’ the numeral itself, or your unique vision of a ten-year celebration. Interpretation is the name of the game, and we can’t wait to see what the riders approach up with. Our panel of judges will shortlist the top three male and top three female contenders, who will then be called to the stage during the prize-giving. The winners will be chosen by the audience. Don’t forget, to be eligible to win the prize you need to wear your outfit for the duration of the stage. We challenge all entrants to let their creative sides reign and join the fun.”

What\’s sort of interesting about the whole Public Relations disaster that is the Net, in some ways, is that the fundamentals are really good. – Meg Whitman

\”The counsel on Public Relations is not an advertising man but he advocates for advertising where that is indicated. Very often he is called in by an advertising agency to supplement its work on behalf of a client. His work and that of the advertising agency do not conflict with or duplicate each other.\” – Edward Bernays

The other thing that gives a scientific man the creeps in the world today are the methods of choosing leaders – in every nation. Today, for example, in the United States, the two political parties have decided to employ Public Relations men, that is, advertising men, who are trained in the necessary methods of telling the truth or lying in order to develop a product. – Richard P. Feynman
