Seeking Dividend Returns Above 10%?

When it comes to upcoming dividend payouts, there are companies with an annual dividend yield higher than 10% as of writing, preparing to pay dividends with upcoming last dates to trade. (List courtesy of Easy Equities).

  • Orion Office REIT Inc.: A real estate investment trust (REIT) that invests in office properties. It currently offers a dividend yield of 11%.
  • Annaly Capital Management Inc.: A leading diversified capital manager that invests in and finances residential and commercial assets. It currently offers a dividend yield of 13%.
  • AGNC Investment Corp: Another REIT that invests in mortgage-backed securities, which, according to its website, generates favourable long-term shareholder returns with a substantial yield, currently at 14%.

In addition, new listings are on the way as 3M Company and General Electric Company are currently undergoing spin-offs.

  • 3M Company is spinning off its Health Care business, which will be named Solventum Corp, derived from “solving” and “momentum,” reflecting its commitment to innovative and swift innovation.
  • General Electric Company has approved the spin-off of GE Vernova, a sustainability and renewable energy solutions company (involved in gas, steam, nuclear, hydropower, solar, and wind) whereby it will be branded as GE Aerospace.

Shoprite Holdings Ltd, Mondelēz International, New York Times Co, and Anglo American Platinum Limited are some of the names also included in this week’s update.
