Train Like an Olympian at Total Ninja, Africa’s Largest Inflatable Course

In celebration of the Paris 2024 Olympics, Total Ninja South Africa, Africa’s largest Inflatable and Adventure Park, is offering all Ninja warriors the opportunity to experience the excitement firsthand with their 2024 Olympic Challenge that will be hosted nationwide on Friday, 09 August across all Total Ninja venues. The park will further introduce guests to Obstacle Course Racing (OCR), which is now an official Olympic sport, becoming part of the Modern Pentathlon for 2028.

What is Obstacle Course Racing (OCR)?

OCR (Obstacle Course Racing) is a fast-growing sport that combines running with a variety of challenging physical obstacles. Participants navigate through a course that tests their strength, endurance, speed, and agility.. OCR has gained immense popularity due to its blend of physical challenge and mental toughness. Now, with its inclusion in the 2028 Olympics, OCR is set to reach new heights of recognition and prestige. The 2028 inclusion is not a standalone event and will be incorporated as the fifth discipline in the Modern Pentathlon. This discipline will feature a short course of 65 meters, joining fencing, laser gun pistol shooting, swimming, and cross-country running in this multifaceted Olympic event.

Total Ninja’s Olympic Challenge

Total Ninja is inviting all fitness enthusiasts to join in on the excitement and enter for the 2024 ‘Olympic Challenge’ event, happening this Friday, 09 August, from 3 pm across all venues.. This event is designed to give participants a taste of what it’s like to train like an Olympian, right here in South Africa.

What’s in Store?

Participants in the ‘Olympic Challenge’ can look forward to a variety of exciting activities, including:

Olympic Obstacle Course: Test your skills on a course inspired by the obstacles set to feature in the 2028 Olympics. This is your chance to see if you have what it takes to go for gold!

Strike Arena: Hone your precision and speed in this fast-paced, high-energy activity that’s sure to get your adrenaline pumping.

Africa’s Largest Inflatable Course: Bounce, slide, and jump through our massive, adrenaline-filled course. With its impressive scale and variety of obstacles, it’s an experience like no other.

The Wipe Out: Face off against this challenging obstacle and see if you can conquer it without getting knocked off!

How to Participate

Complete the Total Ninja Olympic booking for here – https://totalninja.co.za/olympics-bookings/

Complete the form by entering your contact details, number of team members and your country, and book your 1 hour spot for R1 60 per person (excluding grip socks) at any of our Total Ninja venues.

Slots will run from 3 pm, with the last slot at 8 pm on Friday, 08 August.

Spaces for the challenge are limited, with only four groups of 4-6 people allowed per venue.

Get ready to channel your inner Ninja. Whether you’re competing for fun or aiming to achieve the fastest time, this event is your chance to embrace the Olympic spirit while enjoying a unique experience.
