The Nelson Mandela Bay Tourism Awards (NMBTA) proudly announced the winners for the 2024 awards during a prestigious gala event, highlighting excellence in the region’s tourism and hospitality sectors. This year, eight categories showcased the talent and dedication of the local businesses and individuals contributing to making Nelson Mandela Bay a premier tourist destination.

2024 NMBTA Winners by Category:

  1. Accommodation: Pabala Private Nature Reserve
  2. Attraction & Experiences: The Boma
  3. Caterer: Petronella Craft Foods and Catering
  4. Cultural, Conservation & Sustainability: Raggy Charters
  5. Tour Guide: Lizl Nieuwoudt
  6. Transportation & Tours: Awehness Travel
  7. Up & Coming (Youth Focused): Devson T Luzane
  8. Photography/Videography: Firefly, the Travel Guy

“We were blown away by the standard of excellence, and on behalf of the Nelson Mandela Bay Tourism Awards, I would like to congratulate all our winners.” said Nqobile Nobs Qupe, NMBTA Committee member.

The NMBTA organizing committee extends heartfelt thanks to all entrants and participants this year, and they look forward to honouring even more deserving businesses and individuals at the 2025 awards.
