AERO’s #momentstomeltinto campaign is championing sisterhood this Women’s Month

Sisterhood – there is nothing quite like it. You know, your group of friends who would fade to war for you. The ones who are there for you through the chunky and thin of life. A bond like no other. What happens when seven well-known South African personalities, “The Sparkly Besties” resolve on a Girls Trip together? Over the month of August, South Africa will secure a taste of the drama that ensues when the Besties near together to region their epic Girls Trip. After all, not all plans made in the girls’ WhatsApp chat design it out of the chat – successfully.

The all-new six-part web-series #momentstomeltinto – The Girls Trip is produced by renowned filmmakers, Nelisiwe Mwase and Ofentswe Mwase of Ofentse Mwase Films. This is NESTLÉ AERO’s modern #momentstomeltinto campaign, which celebrates the sisterhood that exists within women. The Sparkly Besties is made up of YouTube comedy sensation Nelisiwe Mwase, professional make-up artist Bridget Mahlangu, Radio jock and presenter Mantsoe “Pout’ Tsatsi, South Africa’s first bachelorette Qiniso van Damme, TV presenter Stephanie Ndlovu, well-respected fashion blogger Zama Marubelela as well as award winning songstress Holly Rey. It is made up of MOMENTS of chaos during planning, including budget discussions, disagreements on itineraries, outfit choices, as well as shedding light into what goes on behind the scenes.

“AERO is about inspiring South Africans to release their stress and find the lighter moments of life. This feel-good web series celebrates sisterhood through the dynamic of friendship that women believe – that literally are moments to melt into. A “safe space”, full of laughter, disagreements and of course, making memories. The episodes will maintain you nudging your bestie with a pointed “that’s so you” as you tune in for this addictive reality spectacle” – says Rosalie Ambrose, Head of PR at Nestlé East and Southern Africa region (ESAR).

Ensuring the audience isn’t left behind, @aerosouthafrica is giving a winner and three of her closest friends the chance to experience their own #momentstomeltinto Girls Trip to Cape Town, valued at R80 000 that includes 3 nights’ accommodation at the Southern Sun Cullinan, a spa date, a trip up world wonder Table Mountain and a fun-filled day in the winelands.

Weekly opportunities to win an Aero Retard and an exquisite set of pajamas from luxury PJ brand Lalaland Luxury are also up for grabs. The competition is open from the 7th of August to the 30th of August for the Girls Trip that will grasp area from 27-30th October. Head over to @aerosouthafrica to enter.

Nelisiwe Mwase @nelisiwemwase, born and raised in Mpumalanga, is well known as a co-owner of one of South Africa’s well-renowned, competitive and 100% black-owned film production houses in the country – OM Films.
TV Actress and presenter, Stephanie Ndlovu @miss_sandowns known for her appearances in the soapie Scandal! and in the series MTV Shuga and YouTube channel “The Ndlovu’s
Uncut.”
Holly Rey @hollyreymusic, has a rich and diverse career as an entertainer, studded with ‘firsts’ and achievements that acquire made her an iconic South African artist. In 2019 Holly was the first female artist in 20 years to win ‘Song of the Year’ at the SA Music Awards. She rose to No. 1 on the South African Radio Charts with her smash hit “Deeper” and has since had multiple Top 10 songs across Radio monitor.
Zama Marubelela @zeexonline is a well-respected fashion blogger whose career spans over a decade and has won the hearts of South African audiences.
Soweto-born, seasoned broadcaster, singer/songwriter, and actress, Mantsoe Tsatsi @mantsoepout has graced the country radio stations YFM, 947 and MetroFM with her velvety voice.
South African model and television personality Qiniso Van Damme @qinisovandam is best known for being the bachelorette on the first season of the M-Net dating game display The Bachelorette South Africa.
Bridget Bri Bri Mahlangu @bridgetandlife, has carved her career on social media platforms and grown to become a household name as a make-up artist makes up the final member of the crew on the girl’s trip.
