On Thursday 30 May 2024 at 2:45 pm Straton Prepaid despatched a parcel from their offices in Gqeberha to another business offices in Johanneburg via parcel delivery service provider, The Courier Guy.

The Courier Guy.

The item despatched went door to door ordinary delivery – NOT ‘express’ or ‘overnight’ or ‘urgent’ or any of those other words used to justify an increased courier fee.

At 9:45 am on Friday 31 May 2024, the purchaser of the Replacement UIU for a prepaid water meter alerted Straton Prepaid that his parcel had been delivered.

Frankly this type of quick service from The Courier Guy has become the norm rather than the exception and we can only thank The Courier Guy for exemplary service and pray that it will last long whilst they prosper.

By the way – the UIU was the last one that Straton Prepaid have in stock whilst we wait for the factory to catch up and send more – that wait we measure in months!

Myth: It’s not really advertising, but it’s basically the same as marketing. Fact: Advertising, marketing, and PR often work together, but they’re all distinct fields! In the age of social media and content creation, the line between PR and marketing has been blurred – but it still exists. PR is definitely a piece of the marketing puzzle for most businesses, and confusion can sometimes arise when press releases appear alongside marketing campaigns or ads on Twitter and Facebook. The real difference is that marketing focuses on promoting a company’s products and services, with a more direct line to driving sales and revenue. PR’s impact, on the other hand, is less directly quantifiable; it primarily focuses on building a company’s profile and reputation. While they do work in conjunction with one another, it’s important to take into consideration the goals, strategies, and tactics that distinguish the two.
